CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY
To establish a service relationship with all customers. To deliver a clean usable product. To maintain proper inventory levels in all accounts. To monitor uniforms, i.e. new hires, take outs, size changes. To inform service management of customer concerns.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Load and unload trucks
* Check load for proper quantities (if not correct, inform a supervisor immediately)
* Do a proper circle check of your vehicle
* Properly fill out a daily truck inspection book (do not take if vehicle unsafe)
* Check invoices before leaving (notify supervisor if any discrepancies)
* Check beeper before leaving
* Check garments for proper sort and quality
* Check route rack before leaving
* Notify morning supervisor when leaving
* Deliver all product assigned to your route (specials)
* Sale items must be delivered to the person designated on the invoice
* Monitor inventories of all products (flat and garments)
* Invoice must match delivery
* All invoices must be signed (unless authorized by account)
* Issue proper credits (include discounts)
* Check with each customer upon arrival
* Communicate with your customers
* Ask if they would like to place any orders
* Ask if they have had any personnel changes
* All clean returns must be kept in an usable condition
* All special linen bags must be tagged and kept separate
* Notify a supervisor upon your return
* Complete route
* Fuel truck daily
* Complete all paperwork properly (have ready before you check in)
* Follow all laws and regulations regarding the driving of the trucks
* Secure truck for the night
* Attention to detail is a must

GENERAL QUALIFICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION: Speak, read and write English; High school graduate preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Previous outside sales or delivery experience.
TRAINING PERIOD: Three weeks to one month - including five to ten days accompanied by ROUTE SUPERVISOR to learn route and solicitation duties.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Commercial Driver License not required Able to sell services convincingly. Able to lift and carry bundles weighing up to 85 pounds short distances. Pass DOT Phisical
